Ingredients

Add (48 ounces) chicken broth to shopping list 6 cups (48 ounces) chicken broth

Add carrots, sliced diagonally to shopping list 1/2 cup carrots, sliced diagonally

Add onion, diced to shopping list 1/2 cup onion, diced

Add celery, chopped to shopping list 1/2 cup celery, chopped

Add pepper to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Add salt to shopping list 1/8 teaspoon salt

Add uncooked whole wheat egg noodles to shopping list 1 cup uncooked whole wheat egg noodles

Add cooked chicken, cubed or shredded to shopping list 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed or shredded

Directions:

In large pot mix broth, carrots, onion, celery, pepper and salt. Bring to a boil and stir in noodles.

Cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring often until noodles are tender. Add chicken and heat through.
