Pumpkin Spice Cookies

Yield: 2 1/2 dozen

Ingredients

Add yellow cake mix to shopping list 1 package yellow cake mix

Add cinnamon to shopping list 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Add nutmeg to shopping list 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Add canned solid pack pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix) to shopping list 1 cup canned solid pack pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)

Add butter, softened to shopping list 1/4 cup butter, softened

Add raisins, if desired to shopping list 1/2 cup raisins, if desired

Add vanilla ready-to-spread frosting to shopping list 1 container vanilla ready-to-spread frosting

Directions:

Heat oven to 375 degrees F

Stir cake mix (dry), cinnamon and nutmeg in large bowl. Mix in canned pumpkin and butter until well blended. Stir in raisins.

Drop dough by generous tablespoonfuls about 2-inches apart onto cookie sheet.

Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until set and light golden brown around edges. Cool 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Top with frosting.
